Our results suggest that college students studying between the times of 8:00-10:00 am were the most stressed, where as students studying between 10:00 pm-12:00 am were the least stressed. We can not conclude that our findings are significant due to there only being a 0.04 and 0.03 difference between the night group and the other two experimental groups. It is also important to note that in the late night study experimental group there was a large outlier which had significantly higher presence of IgA bound in the well, which may have skewed the average in its favor. Hence why standard deviation was also included in our results.
It is also important to note that a higher presence of IgA bound in the well indicates stress levels are lower due to the production of the immunoglobulin by the immune system being increased in a more relaxed environment.
An ANOVA (analysis of variance) was performed in order to test the significance of our findings.
